Supervision: Personalized Guidance for Professional Success
Dr. Pierce is delighted to support you on your journey to becoming a BCBA! She understands the challenges of balancing coursework, professional development, and personal responsibilities, so supervision is flexibly scheduled to meet your needs. With Dr. Pierce’s dual expertise as a Special Education teacher and BCBA, she delivers critical knowledge in an accessible and practical way. With compassionate and encouraging guidance, you’ll receive mentorship grounded in current and ethical best practices.
Dr. Pierce provides oversight for aspiring BCBAs, ensuring that you develop the skills required for certification and competent practice. Monthly observations are scheduled according to your availability, and individualized feedback is provided by Dr. Pierce. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring an engaging and customized learning experience as you progress toward BCBA certification.
During your supervision period, you’ll have access to 1:1 sessions and small group discussions. Individual sessions focus on test preparation, case management, and best practices. Group supervision includes discussions of neurodiversity-affirming practices, trauma-informed approaches, assessment selection, graph analyses, case studies, application of ABA concepts, and ethical decision-making. Dr. Pierce incorporates the ABA Visualized curriculum into her supervision program and fosters a collaborative environment for aspiring BCBAs.
Supervision is offered virtually and in person.
